Throwback to Paul Taylor American Modern Dance Company, TaylorNEXT Nights nights, and a backstage tour of Lincoln Center. Loved the spirited Brandenburgs, the emotional The Word, and the dynamic Rush Hour… in fact, so much so, I came back for four more shows.
Scottish Ballet
At the ballet. Had a wonderful night with Scottish Ballet at the Joyce Theater, and a post-show chat with lovely dancers Bethany Kingsley-Garner, Araminta Wraith, and Victor Zarallo. Love their display of athleticism and power in Sinfonietta Giocosa, and also the many personalities, emotions, and stories told in their contemporary pieces.
